AMT and Van Tetering join forces

AMT Group from Breda and Van Tetering Railroad Equipment from Steenbergen are entering into a strategic partnership – as of January 1, 2026, Van Tetering’s production activities will be integrated into AMT.

The railway market will change significantly in the coming years: the electrification of railway machines requires new knowledge, a different way of working and additional technical support. To be well prepared for this, AMT and Van Tetering have decided to enter into a cooperation agreement. This means that Van Tetering’s production activities will be integrated into AMT from 1 January.

With this step, AMT strengthens its position in the market. “The Van Tetering team brings a wealth of experience to Breda. We look forward to working together to create a broader and stronger offering for our customers,” says Sven Elst, director of AMT.

In the coming weeks, preparations will be made in Breda to offer Van Tetering’s employees a smooth transition and warm welcome to their new workplace in Breda.
